Jerry's Muesli
Recipe
12 servings
This simple muesli recipe is a good breakfast when you don't
have time to cook hot cereal.
1 oz chopped hazelnuts
1 oz chopped
walnuts
5 oz chopped dried apples
5 oz
raisins
8 oz
rolled oats
8 oz
rolled wheat
8 oz
rolled rye
In
a large wide bowl, weigh all ingredients. Toss with a large spoon to
mix. Store in an air-tight container. Refrigerate if you have the
space.
Eat with fresh fruit and non-dairy milk.
Comments: Everyone
is familiar with rolled oats. In the natural food store you can often
find other rolled whole grains. All have been lightly steamed and may
be eaten without additional cooking if you moisten them with
a non-dairy milk. Feel free to substitute your favorite chopped dried fruit and nuts.
